I resolve to be a more encouraging and positive mother and wife.
I will compliment and enjoy my family daily.
I will laugh .
I will help my neighbour when I can.
I will feel good about myself and stop comparisions.
I will let go of expectations of myself and others.
I will bring out the best in my spouse and thank God for him.
I will meditate on God's word daily.
I will think before I speak.
I will exercise to stay healthy and refrain from compulsion.
I will not compromise integrity.
I will look into peoples eyes and smile.
I will live like it is my last day on earth.
I will do this trusting the One who holds all our tomorrows and who graciously forgets our past.
The last one will make all the others possible! God bless you, dear sis, in 2012!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Janet... I've learned too it's what you say in your last line that makes anything else possible!
ReplyDeleteAnd I love the way you say how He 'graciously forgets our past.' He is so gracious!
Wishing you the BEST New Year.... blessings and great joy!
What an inspirational list... and a perfect way to start the year! I didn't know you had a blog! I'm so grateful to know you & excited to see what I can learn from you in 2012 :)
