Misty Meditation

The other morning the fog was a panoramic slideshow.....the sun was attempting to push it away. It looked beautiful and it felt like a reminder to persevere...to always be hopeful...and YES spring is now on its way!

Certain days life's path is clear, undimmed, bright...
dreams seem to have taken flight midst stars somewhere...
Other days it can feel like dreams got lost in air...

Fog seems to blur what we know is there.
The path can be difficult to discern.

We cling to the things we know and have learned...like faithfulness, grace and Hope.
Fog seems to blur what we know is there.
But we know it is there.

                                     Whispers are words too.
              so
We keep on giving, loving and learning. and we see and understand what we didn't know.....    eventually

we emerge energized by truths that fog revealed...

Still There

Even the palest colours are breaths of mercy..

    the faintest whispers are words...

the quietest notes are still music..

and even echoes are heard.

Sometimes it is the still and subtle things that speak the loudest.
Open my eyes today Lord, open my ears to listen.
and at the close of this day may I not regret any aspect of it's memory.

A Sad Week

Sometimes you have to remind yourself that the sun WILL shine again.
Clouds come and go but beauty can be found in the strangest places.

When we love with all our heart; we hurt with all our heart.
This is our sweet tragedy. So much of life is bittersweet.

But the birds  sing when  the dawn is still dark. We must too.
For if we don't then sorrow has won.

We must hold gently the windswept moments of today.
Whisper close those sentiments you feel.

Then accept what is, what can not be changed.
Move forward with dignity and grace, and the knowledge
 of God's amazing love.

Lately the news has been particularly tragic...so many heartbreaking stories...and on a different level here on the home front...we are mourning the loss of our beloved dog Canyon.I talked about him here.

A few days ago he vanished and we don't have a clue at his whereabouts...we are so sad; as we miss his place in our family. Last evening on my bike ride I had to remind myself to look for the beauty and to LOVE
deeply while I can...

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philipians 4:8

Keep Dancing

please listen to the music

Sometimes life is just that way,
But never stop trying.
The courage to love and not give up.
The strength it takes to believe.
Everything will be okay.

Life and love are a phantom dance of sorts.
We can try to avoid it's mystery.
But when we embrace the wonder and  power they hold,
We truly live.

When we let go and ride like the wind towards our destiny.
When we risk.....to feel and know.
When we give..... beyond ourselves.

We  find that joy; that unveiling of a beautiful soul.
The scars of a beautiful life are in the hands and eyes
        that weep with compassion.

The Love that knows no Bounds....

              keep sailing.....follow the Master.

for these and more we thank Thee...
