"please Mom, can we have a sleepover?" my daughter pleaded. We might not have any more this summer."
I remember how much fun I had with my cousin growing up. I recall the days when both of my older daughters had sleepovers with this special nieces' sisters.I briefly ponder the speed at which the years go by, and I really don't need to give it any thought. " Of course! " I smile. "as long as sleep is included."
Baking cookies took up some of the morning.Discovered this recipe at camp last week.Thumb print cookies.

It worked out great. There was a " shaper", a "sugarer," and a" jammer."
Don't they look delicious?
In the afternoon we decided to pay a visit to one of our favorite stores.
The name says it all.
In the end ice cream won.
Sometimes I pretend I am a tourist in my home town. I love looking at something and wondering what I would notice if this was my first visit.
There is so much beauty in this historic town.
Thank you for taking the time to stroll with us.
May the moments that are left in your summer lead to great memories in the future.
