Spilling Sunshine In Spite Of Sorrow

I love when morning sunlight bathes every room in it's radiance.

although the weather was lovely today, it was marred by
another senseless and tragic event in the news.

It is all quite terrifying if allowed to dwell on the evil lurking so close.....then I remember....

Romans 8:31 If God is for us, who can be against us?

Blessings where ever you are....I have been meditating on this verse....
So glad that He will NEVER forsake us.

  2. Good morning Lucy.
What a sad day; I also found myself comforted by His unfailing Words.
Blessings to you...I love the sunlight streaming through too, especially when the days of sun have been so few this summer and autumn. Enjoying each one.
    Hugs!

    All my heart,

  3. Oh Lucy, such a poignant post today. But it's true; 'If God is for us, who can be against us?' My heart aches for the two men who lost their lives to terrorism, just one day apart. Prayers for their loved ones, and for my home and native land.

    Hugs,
    Poppy

  4. I've been in meetings all day and didn't see the news until late this evening. Heart-breaking. So glad I read your post minutes later. Such an encouragement. Yes, if God is for us who can be against us. Blessings to you.

  6. Beautiful. I see we like the same shade of green. And I'm so glad we can dwell in the Secret Place of the Most High in these trying times.

Blessings for peace back at ya........
