Today's Exposition

You have let me experience the joys of life and the exquisite pleasures of your own eternal presence...Psalms 16:11
isn't that a wonderful verse? I love it! Hoping your week is off to a great start and you experience what that verse is saying...

my most recent addition to my front porch, wish we could sit and chat...

and I would serve some of this egg cheese...delicious with sweet maple syrup!

  3. Thank-you Dar and Susan. Susan, egg cheese is made with a gallon of milk, a dozen eggs and 1L of buttermilk which you cook until thickened, then pour into strainer and chill til set.Quite simple but delicious...maybe I'll post about the recipe sometime....?

  4. Oh, that does sound lovely...to sit and chat with you on your charming porch! What would we talk about? Poetry, for one, although I suspect that we could go on from there. :)

I am heading to your sister's blog on your recommendation...

(Thanks for visiting and letting me know of your family's love for poetry!)

  5. Lovely pictures today, Lucy. I used to love the sound of the door opening when the kids were coming home after playing at friends' houses and such. Lucy, I just got a call and my cousin is not doing well at all. She has been fighting her illness for such a long time, and she is in the hospital now. Please say a prayer for her that she is not in any pain. I appreciate it. She is my first cousin, the same age as I am, and very precious to me.

    Have a nice day,
    ~Sheri at Red Rose Alley

  6. I'd like to sit and chat there as well~lovely. Egg cheese? Just read the described ingredients above here and trying to figure out if I could use a non-dairy milk. Yes, do post a recipe sometime! I could play with a non-dairy version. Looks delicious.
