Listening To The Clouds

as I drove to pick up my daughter the other day I found myself enthralled with the clouds. so I wanted to share and hope you see every cloud in your life as a treasure.
There's something about clouds...
A sky with clouds ...
dreamy,whimsical, fluffy, feel good clouds.

Don't get me wrong,
I like the sun and it's very important role in the solar system.

But clouds   SPEAK.   They FEEL.  They KNOW.

Clouds  move through the sky with dignity, grace and a stoic sense of who they are and what they've been created for.

True to their Creator they enhance the skies they dwell in.
So we who turn and gaze at heaven's beauty can marvel  but REMAIN MYSTIFIED.

                        and dream beyond the clouds.

Clouds floated freely
in this bedroom for a while until girls grew bigger and moved away from clouds.(too bad I don't have a picture of the charming fairy and floral wallpaper they are removing..)

  1. I love clouds. Fat fluffy ones, thin wispy ones - they are magical, aren't they?

Thanks so much for joining in this week!

  2. Good morning Lucy ;)
They do speak don't they? In a langage of their own.
    So beautiful, so dreamy.
I love the song "Sometimes He comes in the clouds"...such a true representation of Gods ways.
Oh what cute little daughters and what a sweet room they had!
I remember painting my daughters room bubblegum pink in one season of her life! Lol
Is spring showing herself where you are Lucy?
    Hugs!

    All my heart,

  3. My daughter is almost 22, but won't let me remove her bedroom ceiling clouds! They are so pretty drifting across her blue room, and hold so many precious memories. I have always loved clouds--thanks for sharing the lovely pictures!

  5. What a beautiful post, Lucy! I love clouds, too. When I was small, my mother and I would cloud-gaze and try to pick out shapes: pigs, birds, dogs, houses... there one minute and transformed the next into something entirely different! I love the way sunlight, sunset and sunrise changes clouds' colors: pink, orange, purple. Thank you so much for posting this! It's lovely.
